Mental detox

A key aspect to being mindful is to be compassionate; to practice empathy. To be compassionate, you have to be in tune with your emotions. We are social beings which means we are constantly interacting with people and emotions are always at play. Not all interactions are positive. Negative emotions that you hold, can lead to stress and chronic diseases. And that’s why it is important to do an emotional detox. Here is what works for me:
